Arrrh matey you might spy Dr. Quimby & Collins at the High Seas Putt Putt Golf for a Rotary Club of Indian Land function (Dr. Collins is a Rotarian) in the fall, or at Christmas time when the Pirate miniature golf is decked out in thousands of lights. Fun fact Dr. Quimby has had two hole in ones in her golfing career and is a former Tarheel Collegiate standout and US Women’s Amateur match play honors. They love the coffee at Burberry and the donuts at Sumo. And of course, what is a town without movie night at Red Stone and ice cream at Handel’s.
Did you know?
Sometime Dr. Collins goes by “Coach Kelly” instead of Doctor. Coach Kelly has coached Interfaith Basketball girls’ teams, as well as both boys and girls YMCA basketball and football. She and her son, Shaun, especially enjoyed coaching Charlotte FC Unified Team, associated with the Special Olympics designed to include and accommodate all players abilities.
